Resolving Disputes

While it's uncommon, there may be times when a freelancer and a client encounter a problem while working on a project. In most cases, the easiest way to solve the issue is for both parties to communicate, figure out what went wrong, and work together to find a resolution. However, if an agreement cannot be reached, goLance offers a dispute process to help resolve the issue.

Note that the dispute process can only be used if there is a goLance contract between the freelancer and the client, and the disputed time was tracked for this Contract using the goMeter.
The process begins with both parties providing a detailed description of the problem and presenting evidence such as documents and conversation logs.
A dedicated goLance investigation team will evaluate the situation and make a decision.
The party that is declared the winner will have to pay a 5% fee of the total amount disputed.
After the process is completed, neither party will be allowed to post a review on the other.

Tips for Managing Disputes

Stay polite and respectful.
Focus on finding a solution and be constructive.
Use clear and objective evidence to support your claims.
Initiating a Dispute

If a client wishes to start a dispute, they should go to the freelancer's contract diary and manually select the screenshots that will be disputed. Note that only screenshots in the review period can be disputed, and once they have been selected and validated, it is not possible to add more screenshots to the dispute.

If you forget to select some screenshots or there are too many to choose from, please don't hesitate to contact our support team for assistance.

We hope this information has been helpful, and if you have any additional questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us.
