A weekly limit can be set on hourly contracts that limit freelancers' payable working hours and provides more financial control for clients when managing projects. Any additional time that is logged beyond the weekly limit will not be billed to the client and will not result in an additional payment to the freelancer. It is not recommended to work past the weekly

Weekly limits can be set when initially hiring, and serve as a simple tool to help clients control spending and manage projects.

Once a limit is set, only the client can change it
Only hours within a contract's weekly limit are protected; hours in excess of the limit will not be billed
Clients can issue bonus payments for any hours worked beyond weekly limits

If freelancers need to exceed your weekly limit, they should discuss this with your client in advance. If raised, limit increases take effect immediately and hours already logged in the Work Diary will count against that limit for the current week.
