Clients can set a maximum number of hours that freelancers can work per week on an hourly contract. This is called the weekly limit and is set by the client when the contract is being created. It can also be updated at any time by the client and not the freelancer.

Any time logged beyond the set weekly limit will not be billed to the client. Freelancers should discuss with their clients when extra hours are needed beyond the weekly limit in order to complete the work or job. The client can increase the weekly limit or issue a bonus in cases where extra time is logged beyond weekly limits.
